TECHNOLOGY TECHNOLOGY TECHNOLOGY! (lec wk 2)

Week two of today’s lecture was based on the origins and history of the PC.
It is clear that without computers we would not have access to the knowledge and comforts that we now take for granted.
Computer evolution has been taken by storm, as many founders of this advancement of these machines are the ones that made history.
It was not until 1975 when the first computer was released, and when they did, they were simply not much use to anyone or achieved any purpose, it was simply to take up space in a room.
Next was invention of the internet. Society became enthralled by the use of this interhighway as this explored endless opportunities for the public and for technology.
The internet, is a network of networks. These networks include servers, mainframes and personal computers
The internet was purely a new idea and means of communication globally with the public, and it has succeeded immensely, as people around the world can communicate freely with one an another.
Technology evolution was increasing, as the concept of artificial intelligence was investigated also, by a man named Alan Turing.
This concept proved that artificial intelligence could not think for itself, unlike humans are capable of Bill Gates became the founder of Microsoft and so computer technology had increased once more.
By another means of communication, came the invention of emailing.
As Email is a virtual mail system which sends documents from one sender to either one or multiple receivers.
If these ideas hadn't been hadn’t been put to the test, our world would be stuck with using bricks for computers for a very lengthy time.
